Draw Hayley's grandfather's map, including all the markings you have listed from your reading of the novel. Try to use as much colour as possible, and use any techniques you like to make it look like an authentic map.

Conditions of Entry:
- The competition is open to participants living in Australia, United States and Canada.
- Participants must be between the ages of 10 and 16 to enter.
- Participants must have permission from their parents/caregivers to enter.
- Participants must hand draw their map (no computer designed maps will be accepted).
- Maps should be drawn on either A4 paper or letter size paper.
- Participants must enter by mailing the entry form and a copy of their map to:

- Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid and disregarded.
- Competition commences on Monday, 18th February 2008 at 00.01 (EST) and concludes on Wednesday 30th May 2008 at 23.59 (EST).
- Judging will be conducted by the author. The author's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Two first prize winners will be chosen - one from Australia and one from either the United States or Canada.
- Two second prize winners will also be chosen - one from Australia and one from either the United States or Canada.
- Winners will be notified by mail as well as have their names listed on the author's website for the last two weeks of June.
- All entries become the property of the author.
- The author reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of age if necessary.
